Humanism has been my way of thinking for over 25 years and one I love sharing with others at the special times as a Humanist Celebrant.
I first became interested in becoming a Humanist in 2019 when I first met Graham Duff and talked about my own marriage in 1997.
Both my wife Suzanne didn’t want a traditional religious wedding. So we researched what was available and found a perfect venue in Dryburgh Abbey in the Scottish Borders. Choosing to get married outside in the Abbey Ruins.
Later on, when our 3 children were born we also chose to have a naming day rather than a christening so they could make up their own minds when they were older.
So, without realising it, Humanism has been my way of thinking for over 25 years and one I love sharing with others at the special times as a Humanist Celebrant.
I live in Edinburgh married to Suzanne my girls are adults and we have our Fox Red Labrador, Buddy. We are very family orientated and enjoy Sunday family dinners, walks with the dog and holidays.
Living centrally means that I am available to help you either in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas and naturally the Scottish Borders too.
I look forward to hearing from you on how I can help you plan that special day, welcome your child at a special naming day or provide a funeral service which celebrates the loss of a loved one.
