Supporting people at key moments of their lives is something I was drawn to, having attended several humanist ceremonies, including funerals, weddings and a naming ceremony for my nephew. Offering ceremonies reflecting people’s personalities and encapsulating their lives turns a nice day into a truly memorable one. I work in collaboration with you to create a personal, intimate and unique ceremony.
I have an empathetic and caring nature, a good listener and enjoy meeting new people. I worked for nearly thirty years as a teacher, mostly working with pupils with additional support needs. I have an interest in all aspects of the creative arts. I sing in three bands, performing regularly in venues across central Scotland. I am also a writer, having published both poems and short stories. I also write and perform my own songs.
I am based in Glasgow and am happy to travel to help with your day.
